There’s no surprise the Philidelphia Eagles will not be visiting the White House after their Super Bowl victory.
For years this was a tradition, an honor that sports teams embraced. Today it seems like a mockery, a joke put on by Donald Trump as various teams have announced they will not be attending the White House Visit. TMZ Sports caught up with caught up with Hall of Famer Michael Irvin to get his thoughts on the situation.
“I hate that we’re at that place, hopefully, we can get back to that, if not this President’s term, maybe the next.”
Irvin understands the climate he just hates that it has to be this way and with Trump running things into the ground you can bet the next NBA Champions will also pass on the opportunity to visit the White House.
Irvin adds,
“That’s what politics is. Everybody gets to express their opinions, and those guys are expressing their opinions.”
