Stephen Curry has dealt with an MCL sprain that has sidelined him for over a month now as he also missed the Warriors’ first round series win vs the Spurs. Golden State still won 4-1 with no problems as they saw significant contributions from Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and even role players such as Quinn Cook off the bench.
Curry could make a return for this weekend’s Game 1 matchup vs the Pelicans as Golden State Head Coach Steve Kerr has listed him as questionable, according to ESPN. Curry was able to participate in a full practice today. Kerr also said that Curry looked good today at practice.
“I think what we have to do is see how his body responds the rest of the day,” said Kerr. “We’ll put him through another practice tomorrow. I think he need to string together a few good days. But, yeah, it was very positive.”
A final evaluation will be completed on Friday to determine if Curry will officially be ready to go vs the Pelicans.
