Today is the Minnesota Twins home opener and a the conclusion of the performance of the National Anthem we got a surprise show from the bald eagle present in the stadium. The eagle has been reportedly trained to fly into big events like baseball games. Local Minnesota news reports,
Challenger comes advertised as the “first Bald Eagle in U.S. history trained to free-fly into major sports stadiums, arenas, and ballrooms during the National Anthem!”
Seattle mariners pitcher James Paxton calmly reacted to the bald eagle named Challenger and stood rather still as the eagle attempted to fly away with him after landing on his shoulder. The eagle eventually landed on the field after a failed attempt. Flip the page to take a look.
