It’s Mother’s Day and you see a restaurant still open with customers. They’re not serving food but people are still dining so there should be no harm using the bathroom. I guess the manager of this Atlanta restaurant was keeping watch as he called police to remove three women out the restaurant because they were in the bathroom too long.
Per Grape Vine, three actresses, one from TV series Greenleaf, were arrested by police when the manager summoned an off-duty cop because the women were in there for 10 minutes.
The off-duty officer claims he told them to leave and they laughed at him. When he grabbed Brittany Lucio by the wrist, she pulled away and became angry. He pulled he again by her wrist and she screamed “Get your hands off me!”. He had one of the employees call 911 when she punched him in the mouth. Asia’h Epperson started recording the off-duty cop holding Lucio and Erica Walker in the bushes outside the restaurant.
They were all charged with criminal trespass but Lucio got an additional charge of felony obstruction. Excessive force will be reviewed.
Lucio’s attorney believes they were profiled and want a full investigation from Atlanta Police Department. According to 11Alive, the restaurant was apparently closed when they entered to use the bathroom. They were just letting customers finish their meals.
