First round sweep of the Trailblazers was a shocker and many questioned if Damian Lillard is as good as he claims to be. The All-Star complained about being the “fall guy” and the lack of respect he gets like when he was behind Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball in All-Star selections this year. We can argue that the team is not built for a championship title.
Seems like Lillard feels the same as reports say Lillard requested another meeting with Blazers owner Paul Allen. Per The Oregonian/Oregon Live, Lillard’s agent Aaron Goodwin is “whispering” that much. This will be the second meeting as the two met in January about the future of the franchise.
However, Lillard put the Oregonian reporter, John Canzano, on blast for the report.
The only meeting that can be confirmed is the one that already happened in January.
