Malachi Pearson is just 10-years-old and is already dealing with racism and how it will be his fault when he’s murdered at 16 by the police.
Malachi was playing with a friend at Rosehill Elementary School in Lenexa, Kansas when a teacher came over according to Blavity. Malachi told Fox 4 KC,
“Me and my friend were playing, and then she liked pushed us away. We weren’t fighting. We were just playing and laughing. She told me when you turn 16 and the police shoot you, the only person you can be mad at is yourself.”
When Malachi was 7 months old his father was killed and when the teacher told him that he became emotional. Malachi’s mom Mahogany Foster believes the school is concerned about his image and how he’s perceived rather than his feelings.
“The principal doesn’t offer me any type of comfort. He doesn’t say I’m going to get someone here to counsel Malachi to let him know that everything that teacher said is a lie, I think they’re trying to sweep this under the rug.”
She’s not wrong and she pulled her son out of Rosehill and has enrolled him in another school. But the teacher should apologize and should not be allowed to teach, but we all know the outcome of this situation. Flip the page for the video.
