Young M.A is giving back to the community for Mother’s Day. Yesterday in her hometown of Brooklyn, she hosted a Mother’s Day brunch with her charity organization, the Kweens Foundation. This event was dedicated to families who have lost loved ones to gun violence.
The event took place at the 3 Black Cats Cafe in Brooklyn. The guests were given chicken and waffles for lunch and turned out to be a very social and successful event. M.A was inspired in hosting this event and starting her own charity organization due to losing her brother to gun violence in 2009.
Brooklyn middle school principal Dr. Nadia Lopez and 45th District council member Jumaane D. Williams also made appearances in supporting M.A’s event that benefitted the community.
