Liangelo Ball fully believes that he is talented enough to get drafted in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the upcoming 2018-2019 season.
In an interview with Chris Broussard of FS1, when asked how confident he was about getting drafted, he replied “I’m confident in myself knowing that I’m going to get picked. I’ve been working out for this all of my life, so it’s not going to shock me.”
He went on to state in the interview that if he doesn’t get drafted, he would consider the NBA G league or Summer league, anything that would “get him into the NBA”.
During his lone season in Lithuania, Ball averaged 12.6 points and 2.9 rebounds appearing in 14 games, and playing 21.7 minutes per game, per Real GM.
Recently, it was reported that Ball performed well against top-tier Division 1 talent in the Pro Basketball Combine, and was invited to a pre-draft workout with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.
Based on the newly released Foot Locker video, one could reasonably assume that Ball is ready to move on from the controversial incident in China.
