The Eagles continue to face criticism over their decision to not visit Donald Trump. Trump said that he took the invitation away and spread lies about Philly kneeling during the national anthem.
Eagles Safety Malcolm Jenkins was in the locker room today and the media tried to ask him questions about the White House drama and he responded with answers written on signs, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. He detailed how DE Chris Long gave his 2017 salary to educational initiatives, Colin Kaepernick giving $1 million to charity and players such as Devin McCourty, Matt Slater, and Duron Harmon lobbying for criminal justice reform.
The Eagles continue to be the most outspoken team in the NFL regarding social issues and they should be saluted. Hopefully other teams continue to take notes in 2018.
