Tiffany Haddish swears that it was Sanaa Lathan that bit Beyonce’ in the face back in December at a Carter-hosted after-party in Los Angeles. It seemed that Haddish was gonna find something else to talk about when Beyonce’ jokingly said in her hit single “Top Off” that Tiffany would have to “sign a nondisclosure” the next time they party together.
But she just cannot let this go. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 38-year old actress says that she is very close with Sanaa Lathan’s parents and they were upset with her for leaking this story:
They were like, “Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it’s so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?”
Uh, YES Tiffany! Although Ms. Lathan’s career is untouchable and it’s actually kind of funny to think that she’s confident enough to bite Queen Bey in the face, Haddish is doing more harm to her own career by blowing this story up 6 months after the fact.
Haddish says she never actually “said” Sanaa’s name, but she wanted to get the story out that Beyonce’ had saved her from fighting “an actress” for violating the Queen, telling her to enjoy the party and think of her career. This is when Haddish alleges that Beyonce’ accused the biter of being on drugs.
Sanaa denies that she is indeed #WhoBitBeyonce, but it’s gonna take to the pop star herself to confirm what really happened that night, and we know that’s not gonna happen.
