It’s almost been two months since the Giants drafted Saquon Barkley and with training camp just about a month away, one may be wondering where exactly Saquon Barkley fits as well as how he can help the offensive line.
I know what you’re thinking, “Should I be concerned with the fact that Barkley remains unsigned?” Not at all and in fact, it’s quite common but the timeline as to how long that will remain will be quite interesting to see. Giants’ minicamp took place just a few days ago and Barkley had everyone buzzing.

It looks like that running back superstition might just be a myth. Giants GM Dave Gettleman certainly sounded off on the topic.
“You know what I say about that? It is a crock,” Gettleman said. “At the end of the day, a great player is a great player. He is a touchdown maker … I think a lot of that stuff is nonsense.”
Its important to note that quarterback Eli Manning will finally be getting that much needed support. Last season, his team suffered many causalities but now, some pieces are finally falling back into place. Barkley is setting a new standard on running backs and he’s sure to bring strength to the Giants offense.
Nowadays, we’re seeing running backs become a more integral part of the game as they’re doing much more on the field. For someone who is at 234 pounds- they’re usually not expected to have such good footwork as he displays. You see kids, this is why we don’t miss leg day. If you look up his stats while at Penn State, you can see that year after year, he just kept improving.
Now, the Giants aren’t exactly expecting him to pull some tricks out of his sleeve but his talent is special. He’s willing to learn, brings a lot to the table, and we’re going to see lots of great things from him.
I've been impressed with him especially on how quickly he's learned the offense.-Eli Manning on Saquon Barkley
