After being arrested last night along with his bodyguard Senay Gezahgn, Offset has been released on $17,000 bail from a traffic stop that turned into what can potentially be a nightmare for the rapper’s career. Officers reported that they stopped Offset’s Porsche for an illegal lane change and found that there was marijauna, 3 firearms, and over $100,000 cash in the car. Offset being a convicted felon was taken immediately to jail.
TMZ reports that the power actually went out during Offset’s arraignment this morning, but the process continued with the aid of several flash lights and he was released.

Offset’s lawyer Drew Findling denies that there was even an improper lane change, nor firearms in the car at the time of the arrest. He maintains his client’s innocence and hopes to have the case dismissed.
