The consensus No. 1 player in the entire country coming into college out of high school last year has had nothing but injuries to start off his career.
He couldn’t stay healthy enough after high school to even practice.
He couldn’t stay healthy enough to get on the floor at Missouri.
He dropped out of the top of the lottery, all the way down to the No. 14 pick, in this year’s NBA draft because of his ongoing back issues.
Now, not even a month later after the draft, the young forward had to go under the knife yet again.
However, representatives in Michael Porter Jr.’s camp believe that his latest back procedure will be his greatest back procedure.
