It’s officially a family affair in Golden State.
It was reported that Tuesday the Golden State Warriors officially signed the future brother-in-law of Stephen Curry, Damion Lee.
Lee , who was recently engaged to Curry’s younger sister Sydel previously spent most of the 2017-2018 season playing for the G-league affiliate of the recent NBA Champions- the Santa Cruz Warriors. He is also a Louisville alumni who spent 15 games playing for the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 10.7 points in 26.9 minutes a game.
Sources say that it will be a two-way contract, and Lee was a perfect fit because the Warriors were searching for youth, athleticism, and shooting at the wing position. Standing at a height of 6’6″, and only 25-years old, the former Hawk is actually an idealistic fit for what the champs were looking for.
