The Commandment “Thou Shall Not Kill” meant nothing to sinister former Virginia youth pastor Christopher R. Gattis of Grace Lutheran Church. Last year at Thanksgiving, after having undisclosed issues with his step daughter,Candice L. Kunze and boyfriend Andrew Buthorn, opened fire on them while they played board games. His wife Jeanett was also caught in the gun fire. According to Richmond Times Dispatch Gattis felt his life was in danger, (which seems to be a “get out of jail free card” for some) to justify the triple murder. Take a look.
Gattis initially told police he was threatened, saying “they all came after me.”
According to the medical reports the victims all died from gunshot wounds in the back, clearly contradicting Gattis’s account. It seems that Jeanett had a premonition about this as an adult nephew said after the fact that she advised him to hide the gun in the house in fear he might use it in this manner.
Fortunately some form of justice is being served as ABC News is reporting that Gattis is being sentenced 59 years in prison.
