In the ninth inning of the Yankees White Sox game in Chicago there was a peculiar delay in the game. Umpire Bruce Dreckman was seen leaving the field hastily into the Yankees dugout. New York Yankee’s trainer Steve Donohue originally used a swab to try and remove the moth that flew in his ear in the middle of the inning.
Dreckman could not wait and quickly reached into his own ear and pulled the moth out so the game could continue as the moth began to flap it swings once it was free from Dreckman’s ear. Check out the process of removing the moth on the page below.
