A Florida man’s attempt to satisfy the munchies with fresh baked cookies took a wrong turn when he set his house on fire.
NWF Daily News reports that fire personnel responded to the home of an unidentified man who’s house burning. After knocking on the door, the home’s owner answered stark naked and said, “I’m sorry,” before closing the door again.
According to the police report, the unidentified man attempted to bake cookies on a George Foreman grill. Failing to pay attention, the grill caught fire with the man throwing dry towels on top to put the fire out.
Needless to say, that didn’t work.
Shortly after cops arrived, officers detained the man and had to physically remove him from the house for his own safety.
The report goes on to say that the man admitted to drinking two liters of vodka and smoking marijuana beginning at 9 a.m. that morning. Initially refusing treatment, authorities found the victim as free of life-threatening injuries.
Why didn’t he just use the oven?
