Breaking News: Michael Vick to be Reinstated Week 3 Written by: Robert Littal
I thought the Eagles maybe able to convince Roger Goodell to let him back on the field Week 2, but all things considered it is better than having to wait until Week 6.
After thinking about it, I think bringing him back Week 1 on the road would have been a distraction from the opening of the NFL season, so I can understand that.
Hopefully now we can concentrate going forward on what Michael Vick does on the field and put the past behind us.
He is getting a second chance and I truly hope he makes the most of it.
This could be an incredible comeback or a tragic one only Vick can decide which one it will be.

Agreed on all points. The sooner we can stop talking about this the better I'll feel. Football is exciting enough as it is w/o these side stories.

I can tell you this, it's calmed down a lot here in Philly, but there are some who refuse to let it go because they themselves haven't gotten a 2nd chance equal to Vick's. The jealousy runs deep. It's not his fault that his job doesn't have the same conditions that most of us have to live with should we decide to commit a crime.
