BSO Joins The NFL in Supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

You may notice something new on BSO today. All of our hyperlinks are now “Pink” in Support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. The change isn’t permanent, but will be in effect for the rest of the week.
When Jerod of Midwest Sports Fans put out the word that he thought we as sports bloggers should follow the lead of the NFL is their support of Breast Cancer it was a no brainer.
We are able to reach thousands of individuals each day and what better way to show our support. Personally my grandmother is a cancer survivor so this is a cause close to my heart.
Please support the Team of Flaimahmy.com (Fly Mommy) as they raise money for their American Cancer Society in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Atlantic Station, Atlanta, GA. Click here to make a contribution.
If you can participate in the NFL Crucial Catch Auctionwhich proceeds go to The American Cancer Society.
I also encourage other websites (sports or otherwise), to splash some “pink” on their site in support the best way to fight this battle is with a united front.
