The Weekend That Was

With all major sports underway, this is the best time to be a sports fan. Here are some of the highs/lows (depends on who you ask) from the weekend that was.

NFL:

Brett Favre returned home to his first wife….The Green Bay Packers. Many fans booed him like a scorned woman would, but Im pretty sure they were playing Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” when the clock hit zero.

The Rams finally get one in the win column….against the Detroit Lions. The game-winning touchdown was the Rams first rushing TD of the season…I know…I wont dedicate anymore energy to this.

Ted Ginn Jr. finally played with some passion. 2 Kickoff Returns for TD, in the same quarter.

MLB
yankees

The Yankees are one game away from winning the World Series. Not a big baseball fan, but I must admit, IT’S ABOUT TIME! When you create the best roster money can buy, it should be automatic.

NBA

Early reports Monday morning have Rajon Rondo signing a 5 year extension with the Celtics. Hopefully by then Glen Davis will go from Big Baby, to Big Kid. Too bad for Rondo though. By the 3rd year of the extension, all his uncles/teammates will be sitting next to C-Webb on TNT or falling asleep next to Eric Snow on NBA TV.

Carmelo Anthony is playing with a chip on his shoulder. He is averaging 38 points over the first 3 games of the season. I think he will be a the second leading candidate in MVP voting when its all said and done. The voters have already showed their hand with Lebron. He is my choice for MVP, but as it has been proven before, its politics.

The Orlando Magic are playing some great ball. Back-to-Back Eastern Conference Champion ball.

College Football
boise
The BCS rankings….Ehhh…I’ll pass. If either of the top 3 teams lose ( Florida, Texas, Alabama ), Do you honestly think they will let us see a Boise State vs. Cincinatti title game? Heck and No!

There is a heavy and mixed emotions about the theory of The big G sandboxing a web-site if your caught. However, if your cautious and are making absolute sure that your backlink service is adding deep rss mashing to the paid backlinks. Then, to buy backlinks becomes absolutely a very savvy SEO service you can count on.
