Video: Tim Donaghy Exposes Crooked NBA Refs on 60 Minutes
I am on record as saying that I believe Tim Donaghy. I have heard way too many stories and seen way too many suspect calls in my day not to believe him.
David Stern is like a mafia boss and will try to make you believe there is no corruption and that Donaghy is a rogue official, but the only way you would believe that is if you are naive.
Watch Game 3 of the 2006 NBA Finals and tell me something fishy wasn’t going on. Listen to Donaghy explain how the officials were out to get Allen Iverson (he can’t catch a break) and how they favored Kobe Bryant.
This is a real issue that David Stern is sweeping it under the rug same way Bud Selig swept Steroids under the rug and you see how that turned out.
Open your eyes sometime and you will be shocked at you see:

I truly believe Mr. Donaghy's story and that is the main reason i do not watch NBA games any longer,
I have seen with my own eyes (amature), calls that a Ref. (professional) have missed!!!!! and favoring
players like Kobe and other elite superstars that seem to advance play to the so call Major Markets.
I to think that the Comissioner is as crooked as any dirty politician that will do what ever it takes to make
money. I hope that someday it will fall apart and expose them for what they are.

I still watch the NBA and support it and so does the world in the face of internet haters and internet experts. If you believe a criminal and convict, there's more conspiracy stories they can tell, just go to your local prison and ask. Convicts and criminals are very credible people indeed. We should believe all their stories.

Officials favoritism has been going on for forever, Wilt Chamberlain is among the all time leaders in free throw attempts in a career but NEVER fouled out of a game, then you had the "JORDAN" rules, etc…get over it or go away.

The NBA will continue to roll on like the big, greedy, corporate machine that it is. As scandalous as this story is, it won't make a dent in the popularity of the game. Tim's confessions explain a lot but won't really have a significant impact on day to day operations. I don't believe officiating will or has improved.

I was curious if anyone knew anything about these professional sports ? I am considering signing up for this sports handicapping service.
