Jets Already Selling Super Bowl Gear? Football Gods Not Pleased Written by: Robert Littal

Nothing wrong with being confident, even cocky, but the Jets maybe pushing their luck.  Our friends at Deadspin alerted us to the Jets’ Store online that is already taking pre orders for both AFC Championship and Super Bowl gear.

Before I started to write this I decided to check out the Colts’ store online to see if they were doing the same thing.

They are not.

The Football Gods have been very friendly to the Jets.  They weren’t supposed to be in the playoffs, but the most dangerous opponent is sometimes the one who has nothing to lose and the one with the least expectations.

The mind is an interesting thing.

A lot of times if you believe something will happen it will happen.

Obviously the Jets believe, but at times quiet confidence is much more effective than boisterous arrogance.

What do you think?

Oh wow! I smell a loss for GangGreen. I think I’ll pick up some Hooters cajun wings for the occasion.

"the Football Gods are on my side"….The football Gods don't care that the Colts took their starters out in the last game that the two teams played against each other? You can easily pay hundreds of dollars for a Colts ticket.
