Very sad story coming out of Hattiesburg, Mississippi where three Southern Miss football players were shot after getting into an altercation outside of a club early this morning.
Here are the details:
A Hattiesburg police spokesperson says an altercation took place inside the Hunt Club off Highway 49 around 1:20am. That altercation then moved outside of the Hunt Club where one person opened fire injuring three.
While Southern Miss has declined comment at this time, sources tell 7 on Your Side that all three shot are Southern Miss football players. Their conditions are described as critical.
Coach Larry Fedora, staff, and team members have been spotted at Forrest General Hospital since very early Sunday morning.
According to the Hattiesburg Police no arrests have been made and the shootings are under investigation.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the players and their families.
Just remember no argument is worth losing your life over, so sometimes it is just better to walk away if you feel the situation getting out of control.
