It isn’t that I don’t agree with Lamar Odom, it is just hard to take him seriously because he is married to a Kardashian (not the cute one either).
With that being said here is what he had to say about the Lakers current funk:

Taking a page out of the Bean Bryant (that’s Kobe) playbook, The King has filed the paperwork to change from #23 to #6 starting in the 2010-11 season.
Whereas Kobe’s motivation was to basically to start a new era after his “case” (I love the 1 better than Jordan or the Jack Bauer conspiracies on Kobe by the way), Lebron’s motivation to me seems clearer. Read more…
It appears the time off did Darth Kobe some good.
He picked upped right where he left off. Similar to a serial killer taking a break for a couple of months until the cops go away, Bean got right back to stabbing cats in the heart.

Kobe Bryant didn’t play in the NBA All Star game, but he still was the center of attention. A female fan it appears became a bit too chatty with Kobe and had to be escorted out.

Every once and awhile I have to lay the smackdown (kudos to the Rock) on people making crazy statements.
While I was at the airport late Monday night the Lakers were beating down the Spurs without Kobe Bryant and I overheard:
“Honestly I think they are a better team without Kobe.”
I paused and decided to listen to more of the conversation:

Darth Kobe struck again last night with another game winning three this time against the Sacramento Kings.
The beauty of this three is Kobe puts the dagger in right in front of the Kings’ bench.
