I understand what T.O. is thinking. When Jake Delhomme and Charlie Whitehurst are getting five million plus why shouldn’t he?
When Nate Burelson, Jason Avant and Antonio Bryant are getting five million plus he should be getting at least that much?
Logically I see where he is coming from, but the reality is he is highly unlikely to get that amount of money. But according to ProFootballTalk.com that is what he is looking for.
A lot of people assume it has to do with the amount of bridges he has burned over the years in the NFL and while that is a part of it, I think a bigger reason has to do with his age. Read more…
I honestly believe if T.O. and McNabb could have worked it out in Philadelphia they would have won a Super Bowl by now.
I don’t think Owens has ever been a better Wide Receiver than the time he was in Philly and I don’t think McNabb has ever been a better quarterback than the time he spent with T.O.
I truly believe they both look back on it with regret and when I spoke to McNabb during Super Bowl week he seemed to be relived they had put the past behind them and were back on good terms. Read more…
You may have heard the buzz about a GQ Magazine featuring on Marvin Harrison.
I am not going to rehash the entire feature you can read it here, but it paints Harrison as the shooter in a April 29th incident where Harrison got into an argument outside of club Playmakers (Michael Irvin is not please) with Dwight Dixon.
Dixon as well as two others was hurt in the incident. Even though Harrison’s gun was believed to be the weapon in the case he was never charged. The police believed they had enough evidence in the case the DA thought otherwise.
On July 21st 2009 Mr. Dixon was shot and eventually died from his wounds. One gunman shot him while he was in his car. Ironically he was just a few blocks from Car Wash Harrison owned. Read more…
T.O. only has a one year contract with the Bills, so there is a lot of speculation where he will end up next year, but maybe T.O. has dropped a hint about his future plans, via twitter of course.
