According to Nola.com Jones did not appear and no one knows why. He was supposed to work out after Tulane’s pro day, but since Tulane had nothing to do with it had no clue why he didn’t show.

Maybe he was on Bourbon Street making it rain?

Of course you would need money to make it rain and since he hasn’t been in the NFL for awhile it is unclear if he can make it rain or just make it partly cloudy.

I think it is safe to say we won’t be seeing him on a NFL team in 2010.

Our good friends Profootballtalk.com said it was a big mix up with Nola.com and Pacman is indeed working out for teams.

So good for him for not completely blowing it.

The public is invited, and fans will have the chance to shop with Michael and have him help them pick out adidas NBA gear. He will also spend time working behind the register and meeting fans.

Michael will switch out of the deep red of his Miami HEAT uniform to dawn the official uniform of a Champs Sports employee and become personal shopper for a few lucky fans.

Would You Want Ben Roethlisberger On Your Team in 2010?

I made fun of the Orlando Sentinel blogger who suggested that the Steelers should draft Tim Tebow in the first round as a “mentor” to Ben Roethlisberger. It wasn’t a well thought out suggestion, but one point that is worth discussion is where do you drawn the line in regards to off the field problems?

When does the headache become too much? At what point does production on the field fail to override the distraction off of it.

The question many are asking is, is Ben Roethlisberger worth the trouble?

The short answer is yes, and the reason is very clear cut in my opinion. We can only go by the information we have as of today, March 12th, 2010. As of today, he as been accused by two women. One is accusing him of rape in a civil suit and one has accused him of sexual assault in a criminal suit. In both cases the facts are hazy at best. Either Roethlisberger is a sexual predator or he just has bad luck with ladies.

I believe in innocent until proven guilty.

I don’t like Roger Goddell’s policy of punishing players before the legal system has played out. I don’t like that dictatorship attitude in regards to the NFL. I don’t like teams using off the field activities as an excuse to get rid of players. We have a legal system in play for a reason and it is prudent for people to wait until all the facts are laid out before we start kicking players to the curb.

With that being said, based on Goddell’s previous rulings against Michael Vick, Plaxico Burress and Pacman Jones, I would expect Roethlisberger to be suspended immediately if he is charged with sexual assault.

At this present time the only thing Ben Roethlisberger is guilty of, is being an idiot. Alas there are a lot of idiots in the NFL in regards to what goes on off the field, but running an NFL team is not about employing the most outstanding people in the world.

The NFL is filled with bad guys. They might not be criminals, but they aren’t the type of guys if you had a daughter you would want to see at your front door. But if they aren’t convicted of anything criminal and they are productive on the field that is all that really matters. What they do off of it is their own business. Doesn’t matter if it is selling bibles or making it rain at strip clubs.

Super Bowl winning quarterbacks are hard to find. If Roethlisberger was a third string running back he would already be out of the league, but his status as the franchise quarterback gives him a little more rope.

The question it begs is was it enough rope to………………………..you know the rest.

Pondexter and Thomas videos are very good, but my personal favorite from Day 1 is Ali Farokhmanesh mainly because his name is Ali Farokhmanesh (how cool is that?) and he is about 5′2 110 pounds.

When Ali (how cool is that?) caught the ball about 30 feet out and yelled to my homie Big G:

“NO WAY!!!!”

He proceed to swish it and I jumped up and slammed my knee on the table. I am currently limping. Great stuff from a great day one of March Madness.

This is getting ridiculous.

It is time to move on.

Everyone knows that Tiger cheated, but when we have porn stars starting websites and twitter accounts just trying to capitalize off being a ho it has just gotten out of hand.

Enough is enough let that man live.

I don’t know why I would expect a porn star to have some common courtesy, but it is so transparent what is going on I hope no one supports it.

Joslyn James who is a very unattractive porn star his released a string of texts that are supposedly from Tiger.

These texts cannot be verified.

The cell company have refused to say if they are legit. The mainstream media of course are taking them at face value and of course Tiger won’t speak on it so people will believe.

I am a skeptic.

Of course Miss James refused to released what she said to Tiger in the allege texts. Miss James also is the person that said Tiger should apologize to her for being a mistress.

Obviously with the Masters coming up these young ladies are trying to extend out their 15 minutes of fame, but it is truly pathetic.

I wonder what Epic Beard Man would think about this? South Park had it’s season debut last night with a focus on sex addiction *wink wink*.

Tiger Woods was the main focus of this hilarious episode.

The sad thing is South Park’s account of what happened is probably closer to the truth than any of the real media have reported but I digress.

Nothing like some good old fashion shoulder massaging to bother your teammate in the huddle.

Mike Bibby was the “object of his teammates” affections in this one huddle a few days ago.

Specifically Josh Smith wanted to make sure the Bibby was relaxed.

Bibby’s reaction to all of this is priceless.

What makes it so funny is he is really trying to listen to the coach in the huddle, but Josh Smith’s obviously wants to make sure that isn’t happening.

Bibby’s even mouth the words:

“What are you doing, dog?”

Obviously it was a planned attack by the Hawks since you notice other teammates bothering Bibby as well.

Those crazy Hawks, I wonder if Tree Rollins ever did that to Dominique Wilkins?

I understand what T.O. is thinking. When Jake Delhomme and Charlie Whitehurst are getting five million plus why shouldn’t he?

When Nate Burelson, Jason Avant and Antonio Bryant are getting five million plus he should be getting at least that much?

Logically I see where he is coming from, but the reality is he is highly unlikely to get that amount of money. But according to ProFootballTalk.com that is what he is looking for.

A lot of people assume it has to do with the amount of bridges he has burned over the years in the NFL and while that is a part of it, I think a bigger reason has to do with his age.

He is 37 years old and people just don’t want to invest money in an old receiver that comes with a lot of baggage. I still think T.O. can play.

Can he be the T.O. of a few years ago?

That is debatable.

A wide receiver is only as good as his quarterback, so his season in Buffalo was hard to guage because his QBs were awful.

If I was T.O. I would lower my price to the 2-3 million range and have several incentives included that if he plays like the old T.O. he can make his five million.

Until then he will be sitting at home working on his reality show.

From all accounts Tim Tebow had a much better showing at his pro day than he did at the Senior Bowl.

Which makes sense, since there was no defense trying to interrupt what he was trying to do.

I took a look at the “reconstructed” throwing motion. It does look better and his drop backs from center look a whole lot better.

I feel the same way about Pro Days as I do about the combine. They don’t replace the game film.

With that being said Tebow has been invited to attend the NFL Draft in NYC for one reason and one reason only.

That is all they are going to be talking about. My belief is ESPN and the NFL want Tebow not to be drafted in the 1st round because the new format has the 1st round being shown in primetime on Thursday and the 2nd and 3rd rounds being shown in primetime on Friday.

Most people watch the first round, but need a reason to watch the next day especially by it being on a Friday in the spring.

What bigger attraction to watch than Tim Tebow twisting in the wind to see who drafts him?

The haters will love his suffering, while his bathwaterslurpers will not leave the house until they know where their savior is drafted.

Tebow should know this, but he loves the spotlight so it won’t effect him. What you didn’t know that Tebow loves all the attention? You didn’t need a bible to figure that out.

The NFL Draft is a more of an event now. It is entertainment. It is a live reality show and Tebow adds to that.

So I am not surprised or shocked by this as some of you are. I would have been shocked if he didn’t get invited.
