Ben Roethelisberger’s Attorney Ed Garland Has Denied a Police DNA Request

When the allegations against Ben Roethlisberger came out both his agent and his attorney said they would fully cooperate with the police and that there was no truth to the accuser claims.

As we reported yesterday Roethlisberger himself admits that something sexual happened between him and the accuser.

That eliminated the “she is just making this up” angle.  She still could not be telling the complete truth, but something did happen.

The police have requested a DNA sample from Roethlisberger, but even though from the beginning the Roethlisberger camp have said they have nothing to hide, his attorney Ed Garland has denied the police DNA request. Read more…

Amber Hanley on Roethlisberger: “He Called Me An Expletive & Was Hitting On Girls

There are conflicting reports in regards to Roethlisberger’s behavior on the night of the alleged sexual assault.  While some have said he was friendly and very accommodating to his fans, there have been others who have said he was rude and arrogant especially with the females who were allowed into his VIP section.

The strongest comment about that behavior has come from Amber Hanley a 21 year old college student who hung out briefly with Roethlisberger and his entourage in the VIP.

Ben Roethlisberger Hires Former Ray Lewis Attorney Ed Garland

Roethlisberger understanding the seriousness of the accusations against him has hired defense attorney Ed Garland.

You may remember Garland as the man who represented Ray Lewis in his double murder trial.  Garland was able to get a plea deal for Lewis that got the most serious charges dropped (Lewis ended up admitting to Obstruction of Justice).

The investigation is still on going.  Roethlisberger is currently in Pittsburgh now and there is no word if he would be summoned back to Georgia for a second interview with authorities. Read more…
