It appears the war over music streaming spilled into Lil Wayne’s tribute concert to Hurricane Katrina.
Tidal teamed up with Lil Wayne to stream his Lil Weezyana Fest, which included a Hot Boys reunion and other special guests — including the 6 God himself, Drake.
Business intervened over friendship when Apple threatened to sue Tidal for $20 million if they streamed when Drizzy was on stage performing.
Tidal did their best to calm users:
1/2 Apple is interfering with artistry and will not allow this artist to stream. Sorry for Big Brother’s inconvenience.

2/2 We'll be back after the performance.

I’m confused on how Wayne and Drake put this huge performance together, but avoided having the conversation over heir music streaming allegiance.
