2Pac was shot in Las Vegas in a BMW as he was leaving a Mike Tyson fight in September 1996 on the way to Club 662. Many believe that the shooter’s motive was retaliation for Pac punching Los Angeles Southside crip gang member Orlando Anderson at the MGM Grand for stealing his friend’s Death Row Records chain. It is often believed that Anderson was the one who pulled the trigger.
The BMW that Pac was shot in and that ultimately lead to his death now recently appeared in an episode of Pawn Stars, which is also located in Las Vegas. The bullet holes on the car was repaired and it looked good as new. The hosts of Pawn Stars were very intrigued by the seller who brought the BMW. It was noted that they wanted $1.5 million for it but Rick, one of the show’s hosts, said that the price was more than he was willing to pay for. Rick’s partner Chumlee wasn’t too happy about him turning the BMW down due to it belonging to 2Pac and Suge Knight along with its significance in hip hop history.
