Former MLB player and current MLB analyst Aaron Boone will serve as one of the analysts for this year’s College World Series. ESPN is handling the broadcast for the 35th straight year. Aaron has also partnered with Allstate to do a very cool thing for the fans at the CWS called “Good Hands in the Stands” Allstate will reward each fan who catches the first foul ball of every half inning hit into the stands at T.D. Ameritrade Park with a “Good Hands in the Stands” keepsake trophy. For every foul ball that is caught, Allstate will also make a donation to Boys Town in Omaha to support youth sports.
I sat down with Aaron to discuss the College World Series, his favorite memory of his career, and the problem with pitchers being injured in Major League Baseball. I will also be in Omaha over the next two weeks bringing you all live updates and recaps.
Thanks to Aaron, Allstate, and the team working behind the scenes to make all this happen.
