The Tennessee Titans lost their match-up with the Chicago Bears this past Sunday, being dismantled 51-20.
Having 50 points put on you and losing by 31 has to be extremely embarrassing for everyone associated with the Titans organization. Apparently, the owner will not stand for it.
Bud Adams had some pointed comments about his team after the game.
Per the Tennessean: Adams was quoted as saying, “In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular season home game that was such a disappointment for myself, and fans of the Titans.”
“We were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today.”
Adams then added, “At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches and players over the next seven games. If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team.”
It’s sounding like heads will begin to roll in Tennessee if things don’t get turned around quickly.
Nobody is safe from the top of the organization to the bottom.
