Any deal that the Cleveland Cavaliers make for Timberwolves star Kevin Love will not involve No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins according to the Cavs new head coach.
According to ESPN.com, David Blatt made it clear that “Wiggins isn’t going anywhere.”
“There’s no reason or cause for worry on his part because Andrew’s not going anywhere, as far as I know and as far as the club has expressed,” Blatt told reporters Saturday following the Cavaliers’ Summer League practice in Las Vegas.
Whether that’s posturing or just wishful thinking is a conversation for another time. Many around the league believe Wiggins will have to be included in any deal that brings Love to Ohio.
