Denver Internation Airport is my favorite airport. Now it’s probably Peyton Manning’s as well. The airport honored him at gate B18, joining the rest of the football world as they celebrate the career of Manning.
That’s awesome that they want to honor him, but I wonder if Manning has heard about the oddities of DIA? I don’t know if I would want to be connected to that kind of voodoo. As a kid, I can remember being freaked out by the Mustang at the entrance to the airport- the eyes are unnecessarily terrifying:
The rest of the airport is littered with creepy paintings with armageddon type overtone. It is generally just a creepy airport. More details from The Chive:
Nobody really knows who paid for the Denver Airport construction. Besides the fact that this dedication stone says it’s covering a time capsule for the people of Colorado, it also says the airport was paid for by the New World Airport Commission. The New World Airport Commission does not exist.
The Denver Airport is creepy and it has me thinking some scary things. But maybe it’s just because I watched way too much of Jesse Ventura.
I probably need a tin hat…
