Mavericks point guard Devin Harris is set to become a free agent on July 1. He says “it’s a good possibility” that he will be back in Dallas next season but wants at least a three-year contract.
Last year the Mavs pulled a three-year $9 million contract off the table when it was discovered the 10-year veteran had dislocated a toe on his left foot. When asked if revisiting this deal was an option Harris said it was a “good starting point”.
Via Star-Telegram:
“It starts with (Nowitzki),” Harris said. “Once we get him we can follow suit.
“Vince (Carter), I would like to see back as well. As well as Shawn (Marion).”
Last season Harris averaged 7.9 points per game and 4.5 assists coming off the bench for Dallas.
