From the day that Kobe publicly told Dwight Howard to keep his clown act in Orlando you had a feeling eventually they would butt heads. Dwight didn’t listen and even clown Kobe after a loss on the team plane which is a big no-no.
They are two totally differently personalities and as the loses piled up the frustrations grow.
Kobe has a tendency to blame everyone else for the Lakers problems and ignore some of his own shortcomings like his defense.
Dwight had enough of Kobe’s defensive issues and called him out on it on the court and bench.

Maybe this is what Kobe wants? Dwight has issues as well and he needs to start taking things more seriously if the Lakers plan to dig themselves out of the hole they have dug for themselves.
