ECU fans weren’t happy about their marching band getting in on the National Anthem protest, and they let it be known by booing on live television.
Band members took a knee before Saturday’s home football game against the University of Central Florida.

During the third quarter, the schools chancellor released a statement expressing “disappointment” Pirates fans booing band members who were expressing their rights.
