The scheduled performer for halftime of the Dallas Cowboys’ annual Thanksgiving day game is threatening to pull oiut of the performance entirely.
Ellie Goulding, who was announced as the halftime performer a mere 5 days ago, cites the Salvation Army as the reason for her displeasure.
The Salvation Army’s brand is plastered all over AT&T Stadium and the halftime show, even having the halftime show known as the Red Kettle Kickoff.
The Red Kettle campaign is a period that begins on Thanksgiving, where the Salvation Army starts its mass effort to give much needed food and supplies to those in need.
However, Goulding has a big problem with the Salvation Army, specifically their treatment of the LGBTQ community.
Unless these conditions are met, Goulding just might pull out of performing the halftime show.
