The Broncos underwent some huge changes this offseason — parting ways with head coach John Fox, offensive coordinator Adam Gase and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio after a divisional round playoff loss to the Colts.
The Players are mostly the same, and some are carrying around the same burdens and expectations from previous seasons.
With this likely being Peyton Manning’s final season, wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is calling it “Super Bowl or bust for the Broncos.”
“The message was definitely world championship from the start,” wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said, via ESPN.com. “The focus is bringing a world championship to this city. We want to get back there and we want to win it. The main focus of this group is to win a Super Bowl. That’s the expectation. If we don’t bring a Super Bowl to this city this year, then it’s a bust season.”
The Broncos have won four consecutive AFC West titles and spent much of Peyton Manning’s tenure at quarterback as one of the AFC’s front-runners for the Super Bowl.
