Monday night saw tempers flare to the point of no return during a match between Kingstonian and Bognor Regis Town of the English Soccer League.
Though both teams are relegated to the seventh tier of their respective league, Monday’s match however, did not count towards league play, which makes this even stranger of a situation.
Rob Tolfrey, goalkeeper for Kingstonian entered the stands after a 2-1 victory to confront a fan, whom gotten under his skin throughout the match as we learn via Fansided.
The brawl escalated to the extent where authorities had to be called in to help disperse the participants of the altercation.
A teammate of Tolfrey’s took to twitter to inform that the goalkeeper had been punched in the face during the altercation, after all was said and done.
