San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane has had himself quite the week and it seems to have just gotten worse.
According to The Athletic, the Sharks were trying to trade the winger earlier this summer even before his estranged wife accused him of betting and throwing NHL games that he played in. The reason-giving for trading the talented hockey player is that his own teammates don’t want him around.
Kane has addressed the situation regarding his estranged wife’s claiming about his gambling addiction and betting on NHL games.
“Unfortunately, I would like to address the completely FALSE accusations that my estranged wife and soon-to-be ex-wife has made against me,” Evander Kane wrote on Twitter on Sunday. “Even against the advice of my legal team, I feel strongly that the public and fans hear this directly from me. I have NEVER gambled/bet on hockey, NEVER gambled/bet on a Sharks game, NEVER gambled/bet on any of my games and NEVER thrown a hockey game.”
Kane has admitted to having a gambling addiction which is so bad he filed for bankruptcy back in January.
Kane has earned upwards of $55 million in his NHL career.
For now, Kane must deal with a wife who is scorned after being left with their daughter high and dry as well as a team that clearly doesn’t want to be around him.
Kane’s wife has also accused him of having an affair while she can’t even afford to buy formula.
She actually called out the mistress and asked her how it felt to cheat with a married man with a pregnant wife at a home with a one-year-old.
The mistress didn’t answer her, but she was busy having Kane take her thirst traps.
Flip the pages for Anna Kane going off on Evander and then dropping the receipts to back her up.
