Free agent defensive end Chris Long struggled in St. Louis last year and the Rams decided to move to L.A. without him but he’s proven that when healthy he’s an upper echelon defensive player in the league.
A free agent’s first visit is always an important one and often signifies which team is hungriest to sign the player. Chris Long’s first visit is with the NFC East champion Washington Redskins.

Long would be a great fit in a 3-4 defense and Washington could surely use his pass rushing ability on 3rd down. Don’t be surprised to see both sides leave this visit with an agreement reached.
