This is one of those topics that you truly can’t speak on with any nuance on social media. People are going to have strong opinions and 280 characters aren’t going to allow you to express them the way you want.
In the end, it is up to Gabby and D Wade to decide how they want to raise his son. It is there decision to make, so people should respect that even if they disagree or would handle things a different way.
Here is what Gabby had to say about people who were critical of taking Wade’s son to a Gay Pride rally.
“It feels normal,” the L.A.’s Finest actress, 46, told Us Weekly exclusively at the Black Design Collective Honors Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter event on Saturday, April 13. “My mom took me to my first pride at eight years old. We moved to San Francisco, and it’s kind of part of being a global citizen.”
The We’re Going to Need More Wine author added: “People talk a lot about diversity and inclusion, but they don’t actually mean it. In our household, we mean that, and that’s why the entire household went to pride.”
Following the parade, Union and the Wade family went to a drag queen show.
