This has to be a joke.
I’m not sure who’s responsible for this tape, but this cruel and unusual punishment. The purpose of a highlight tape for a kid on the high school level, is to get him looks and exposure from colleges and programs across the country who may not know him.
But you can’t send out a tape of your kid or player if he never, ever sees the field. Someone thought it would be a good idea to make a highlight tape for wide receiver Jack Lenihan of Barrington High School in Illinois.
The problem with the gesture, is that Lenihan seems to be no good, and never gets in the game. That didn’t stop said person, from circling or highlighting Lenihan on every play, despite the fact that he’s on the bench.
Lenihan wants division 1 offers only.
If he made that tape, then someone should counsel him. If his folks made it, then they should be counseled as well, but Jack Lenihan isn’t going to a D-1 school.
