As the Miami Heat look to win three straight NBA titles while appearing in their fourth straight, the talk of a Heat dynasty has started to trickle out of NBA circles.
Former Bulls forward Horace Grant believes the Heat have had a nice run, but he believes they’d get crushed by the great Chicago Bulls teams.
Grant told WSCR-AM in Chicago that LeBron James and the Heat wouldn’t stand a chance against Michael Jordan and the Bulls from the 90’s.
“The Heat wouldn’t have had a chance,” Grant said Tuesday on WSCR-AM in Chicago. “We would have locked them up. We would have locked them up. Especially with the rules today, Michael would have had a field day.”
Grant pulled no punches when he said he was pulling for the Spurs to bring home the championship.
“My fingers and toes are crossed that San Antonio wins just for the fact of being a fan of [coach Gregg] Popovich and the way that organization carries itself and the guys on the floor: Tim Duncan, [Manu] Ginobili, [Tony] Parker, [Kawhi] Leonard,” Grant said. “I’m a big San Antonio fan.”
