Huffington Post is accepting applications after they had to fire their own social media editor for spewing racist rhetoric online.
HP announced the termination on Wednesday stating that their recently-hired, LA-based SME used an Instagram account to leave racist, hateful comments on Instagram pages run by black people.
Comments which included:
“Let’s play who will be the next Trevon [sic],”
Y’all wonder why we stereotype and shoot your ignorant asses,”
“You wanted a race battle in this country, you got it! But in the end remember who makes the money in this country.”
Huffington Post became aware of the racist comments when followers of one of the Instagram accounts Ashley Rose targeted brought it to their attention.
To see a sampling of the racist comments, plus Ashley’s picture from the HP office, flip the pages.
