Once again this is when you have to be very careful with how things are being presented.
Rap was on the NFL Network and said this via Larry Brown Sports.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network created a buzz on Tuesday when he reported that the Seahawks are almost certain to deal Bennett as they look to “quiet things down” heading into 2018.
“Production has been really no question here, but this is a team that’s trying to maybe quiet things down a little bit compared to over the last couple of years,” Rapoport said.
Common sense would tell you if we aren’t talking about the production we are talking about off the field things like Bennett’s protest against racism during the anthem and accusing the police of racially profiling him in Vegas.
Bennett also wrote a book where the title is about making white people uncomfortable, so once again what else could Rap be talking about?
He denied it had to do with any of that, but never clarified what he meant.
My comment had literally nothing to do with activism or Michael Bennett’s impressive social platform. The #Seahawks have always supported that. https://t.co/cu8qv2NFef

Without clarification comments like Rap could be very dangerous, because now people are going to ask what does it mean and frankly we don’t know.
Hopefully, Rap takes the time out to speak on what he meant.
*UPDATE*
Bennett has been traded to Eagles.
