After breaking free agency news, general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jason Licht made jokes with NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The front office staff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers deserves recognition for the amount of work they have done during the offseason.
Since most of their decisions have been done internally, many of the moves they have made have gone unnoticed, but the Bucs have emerged as one of the strongest teams in free agency so far after holding onto key players from their 2023 squad.
While talks with a number of players continued throughout the week, Bucs general manager Jason Licht announced that he would be spending Friday on the boat in Tampa Bay.

Even more shockingly, though, Licht continued to work while taking in the Florida sunshine when a number of moves were officially announced on Friday, including the announcement that quarterback John Wolford would be returning to the team for a one-year contract.
In general, general managers don’t typically disclose signings on social media, but when Licht did so with Wolford, NFL Adam Schefter—who typically breaks news—was taken aback.
Sorry not sorry I out scooped you Adam https://t.co/PsYm5v4BaR
