Former Pittsburgh Steelers Jeff Reed had an interesting night at NFL Hall of Fame game.
While trying to watch the Steelers and Vikings, Reed was being heckled by an aggressive Steelers fan that resulted in the kicker leaving the game on the assumption he was too drunk and had to be escorted by security.
Reed responded via his Facebook account to dispute that was not the case, click on this link to read his full statement.
According to Reed, he was being heckled by an “idiot fan” who wouldn’t allow him and his group of friends to enjoy the game so he voluntarily left the game so the fan could watch the game.
Just goes to show everyone has their breaking point, and sometimes the best way to avoid the situation is to just leave which Reed did.
Kudos to Reed from refraining from an athlete beating up a fan, exhibited much patience and composure.
