Today, in another madness shocker, basketball powerhouse Syracuse lost to Dayton in the 3rd round of the NCAA tournament. And if you are looking for any insight on how the Flyers defeated the Orangemen Jim Boeheim knows the perfect person for you to ask.
Boeheim on Dayton: "I'm not going to talk about Dayton. Ask their coach. He should be very proud of his team.''

Although riddled with salt, this type of answer from Boeheim isn’t surprising. But he was correct on one thing, Archie Miller should be very proud of his team. They beat a Syracuse squad that was undefeated and the number one team in the country for a good part of this season.
Boeheim wouldn’t address Dayton, but he did talk about how he isn’t sure why freshman Tyler Ennis settled for a jump-shot on their next to last possession and why he thought they lost the game.
Boeheim on Ennis' jumper: I'm not sure why he settled for the shot. The last shot was the right shot. You don't have time to get to basket

Boeheim: We settled for a jump shot. If you're shooting the ball, that's OK. We needed to keep driving the ball.

Boeheim: In games that we've lost this year, we haven't shot it well and tonight was no exception.

And the Madness Continues….
