Well this is interesting.
Former UConn coach Jim Calhoun has significant interest in the vacant Boston College opening according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com.
Jim Calhoun has interest in BC. Now the question becomes whether BC AD Brad Bates would listen to a Calhoun/Coach in Waiting duo.

Calhoun, 71, stepped down before the start of the 2012-13 season after suffering a broken hip in a bike-riding accident. He coached Northeastern in Boston from 1972-86.
Calhoun took over the UConn program in 1986 and won three national championships — in 1999, 2004 and 2011 — in 26 seasons at the helm. He was replaced by Kevin Ollie, who led the Huskies to the NCAA tournament in his second season since taking over for Calhoun.
